Led by the Season
Our larder is built from small farms, day boats and growers we know by name. The menu shifts as they do.

How a small idea about warmth became a room, a kitchen and a table.

Maison Lumière began with a simple idea: that an evening out should feel like the warmest room in the city, generous, unhurried, and quietly perfect from the first pour to the last spoon.
We cook contemporary French food rooted in classic technique and led by the season. Our larder is built from small farms, day boats and growers we know by name; the menu shifts as they do. Nothing is fussy, everything is intentional: a little candlelight, a great bottle, and a plate worth lingering over.

French foundations, cooked with patience: stocks reduced for days, sauces finished à la minute.
We set one seating a table most evenings. Your time with us is yours; linger as long as you like.

Chef & Proprietor
Élodie Rousseau trained between Lyon and the Loire before spending a decade in the kitchens of Paris and New York. She opened Maison Lumière to cook the food she loves most: precise, generous, unmistakably French, and built around whatever the season is doing best.
Her menu changes with the markets and the cellar, but the intent never does: to make a table feel like the warmest room in the city, lit just enough to linger.
“Cook with the season, and the rest takes care of itself.”

The best way to know Maison Lumière is to pull up a chair. We'd love to have you.
